My numbers are not adding up, I illustrated my problem with a picture. These are legit views from my youtube account I make 100% of the money from the ads from regular youtube views. So only youtube earnings in this picture here.

. GoogleStats.jpg

I cant contact youtube since they have no support, when I make a post in their user forum indian guys copy and paste guides that has nothing to do with my situation or just post illiterate bogus answers. I am so frustrated.

Does anybody know what could cause this or what to do when stuff like this happens?

I don't see why you are angry with youtube.....

CPC and CTR are both variable terms, as well as desktop/mobile views along with viewer geo. This is IM this happens alot.

Google never plays in the publishers favor, if they did they wouldn't make billions of dollars every quarter. It's called shaving, and yes I've done some tests about how Google "shaves" publishers while advertisers are overpaying. You can't do anything about it, I mean yes you could try and get banned or you could collect your cash and turn your head away from the problem.

In all their pages they have this disclaimer "these numbers may vary". So vary they do.

Why don't you dig into the analytics to see where that revenue is coming from? Check your traffic sources; maybe you had more foreign country traffic on the 27th. Check your ad-type statistics; maybe you are getting more of the higher cpm standard reserved ads on the 26th. There does the actual discrepancy lie, with the number of views or one of the other factors? There are a number of possible scenarios that would give you that result. Do some research and you might find your answer.

Hello.
and the more important is how much time a viewer watching your video.
You can check that by going on "Audience retention"
He is purely concerned with a perceived discrepancy between Youtube's numbers and Adsense's numbers. Unless he has long videos with multiple ads throughout video, his retention wouldn't matter with regard to the revenue he's receiving. But I suppose it's possible he has long videos with multiple ads.

YouTube does seriously need to get a customer support section going, Google and Bing have support that is 2nd to none, YT needs to get onboard, especially with matters like this. FB could do better too.

There is simply not enough manpower/resources for them to offer everyone direct support. That is why only those with 15,000 hours watch time in the previous 90 days get email support. The email support they provide to those people is pretty good. They get back to me right away for the most part and usually with a satisfactory answer to my questions.

Adsense and especially CPA are the most inconsistent, yet reliable sources of income.

The only way to expand and obtain consistent result ps is with to heavy traffic volume and inflating the majority of market shares available to your niche and category.

Only then does it balances itself out.
