1 my account is old
2 i just pined 2 pins which are food pins 4 days ago
then pinterest suspended my account. the pinterest filter system is ridiculous.this is the 2nd time my account got suspended with no obvious reason. but one thing i noticed is that both situations happend if there is no activity within several months(my last pin is 3 months ago, i didn't login until 4 days ago),if you login again and pin some pins, you'll get suspended.

To get suspended due to inactivity for a couple of months is really weird. Never happened to my old account and I rarely do anything with it.

Ya, their algo sometimes doesn't make a lot of sense. Just be sure to contact support and ask to get back in. A few of us have gotten our accounts back after suspension. Hopefully, same thing will happen to you.

i guess that's some kind of automation to filter bots, if you say that you haven't done anything wrong (maybe in the past? bots? bad ips?), then i guess that's when the security becomes that tight that it starts to effect the everyday user experience negatively

It is suspended for being inactive for too long, it will resume after you contact support.

Doesn't make sense. They won't grow their social network if they prevent occasional members. Some legit users only wish to pin from time to time, depending on their projects.

I've had accounts suspended from posting from a certain ip (VPN), and also from repinning posts from certain posters. Group board activity (pinning to, repin from, etc) seems to affect my accounts more than anything else.
