If you are new to seo then you have to wait for real seo results because it takes time .Meanwhile read articles related to seo , recent techniques , panda etc . and always keep experimenting , maybe you can be new inventor of future seo techniques

Write in Google Search Engine Optimization Google Starter Guide. It's a guideline from Google, read it.
Some people would see it funny to advice to to read Google guideline, but it's very useful.

First of all welcome to BHW.. Before getting into it, just know about both ON & OFF page SEO.. First make your site stronger in ON-page side well.. Then do OFF-page and boost up in SERP.. The words ON & OFF page SEO may be simple but it includes many factors in.. Use search button and grab the things you need.. These questions are very usual one here from all newbies..

search on google for the 200 seo factors for google and learn them and aply them on your website, i think you can find that here on BHW too.
