    Hey guys,

I am very frustrated these days. Every move I do is a failure and I dont understand why. I created 3 German websites in the last 6 months. Each website has a maximum of 1% kw density, typical onpage SEO, title, description, h1, h2, everything as usual. But none of my websites do rank for its main keyword. No top 100 for none of my main keywords. It looks like I am in an google filter but why? I don´t do over 1% kw density. Ok, I did less to no linkbuilding so far, but usually you get some traffic from longtails anyway.

Now I released a website 3 weeks ago in an very easy niche. kwfinder.com also agreed with me and said "very easy to rank". It has only 2k searches. I was very happy to find such an easy to rank niche. So since I thought my articles are the problem, I gave a guy that job and let him write 2 articles. I did 7 articles myself for that site. So in total it has 9 pages. I put really hard work in that site. Put easily 100 hours in it. I did my best. The front page has 1700 words, sub sites 700 - 1200. Kw density is low at 1,1%, kw only used it in title, description, h1 and one h2.

As I was waiting for rankings, I thought, ok, 3 weeks, no problem, I can wait. Yesterday I checked the serps and was shocked. That guy who wrote the articles for me stole my niche and I guess he told his friend to make a site. How do I know? This niche was free for years, no single kw-domain was registered. Now, 1-2 weeks after I do a site, a new competitor comes up. He registered the domain on January 22nd, put on his content and is ranking on page 5 already. Whereas my site is jumping from page 8 to 13 for 3 weeks now.

He did everything on that page that google warns from. He wrote an 2k article and mentioned the keyword 122 times only on the front page. Thats a kw density over 5%. He has about 20-30 h2 and h3 tags and in EVERY tag he has put the keyword in. The site looks so ugly and rushed. The content is unreadable and full of spelling errors. From the beginning on he put 7 amazon links on the front page.

I simply can´t understand, what do I do wrong? I am so carefull, I don´t overuse the keyword, I don´t have affiliate links on the front page. I don´t use the keyword on sub urls. I asked some friends and other SEO guys, they all aprove that my content I write is very well written and high quality (my native language is German, my english is not so good, so don´t think it is as low quality as this text here :) ). I do a lot of research before I write. They say onpage is superb. Site structure is great. Ok, they say I need links. But as you can see, thats not the problem here. He releases a site and ranks instantly on page 5 of google. I don´t think that he has build links already. In 5 days.

Do I also have to go the 5% kw density way? Play dirty? I use the wordpress rehub theme on all 3 websites but I can´t imagine that this is the problem? He also uses wordpress and the German affiliate theme.

I was thinking about to buy some of the products and write honest reviews about them but since he stole my niche and already ranks on page 5 all my motivation is gone.

I wasted 250 hours on an other site I made. The front page has 4500 words. Self made images. Sub sites have 1500 to 3500 words. 7 pages. SEOs said everything looks fine. I had only 0,5% kw density so they said put it up to 1%. That was last week and still no changes. They say I need patience. But its already 8 weeks since I released it and I still got not one single organic visitor. Google has not even indexed all pages.

You are building pages for search engines not for users. That's your problem.

    Warning: This may sound crazy...

You know you don't always have to make one site per keyword.

why not make 2 sites for this keyword
    1) Your normal site: 1% keyword density, good content, etc
    2) Case study site (just follow your competitor): 5% > keyword density, normal content, medium quality links

    and see which site ranks.
    *cough* 2 *cough*

    good luck

Yep, would be an option. But so much content is not easy for a single person. And at the moment I don´t have any cash incoming to outsource this.

I feel your pain as I have been in a position myself where cash flow was a problem. However I would advise you to find a real job or work overtime until you have enough spare cash to invest in this game. IM is not easy, you will more than likely feel a lot of pain, anguish and maybe even shed a few tears before you make it. Some people don't have the resolve and quite before seeing a single cent as a return.

Thanks. I ´ve quit my job in 2011 and made good money with IM till mid 2016. But I chilled 5 years and did nothing but travelling and enjoying life. My passive income was great. But now google crushed my site and shit is going crazy. I´m close to give up all this white hat seo shit and do some ugly stuff like ewhoreing or whatever methods are out there.

Seems crazy but i agree with @javabro and @evilclown

Have you tried generating backlinks from offpage optimization of your keywords. SE is going nuts these days.

With great content focused towards your user and good backlink and Social Media shares, you will have better shot.

    Good luck

i think page 13 for a days kw is defenitely out of range.
run a seo checker and get some backlinks.

and i have seen the same
when i start a niche there is no real seo comptiton and thereafter there are some. can be just bad luck or i guess more the more article ans seo services you order that there are people which check your niche and if they think they can make money they will do.

Thanks. The site with low competition jumps now between page 6 and 10 on a daily basis. I´ve started linkbuilding with some expired tumblrs. I had a great experience with an other site of mine that has started ranking great yesterday after I made some expired tumblrs 2 weeks ago.

I don't suppose by any chance after Google crushed your site/s - that you've added your new sites to the google webmaster tools and analytics, and / or you have adsense on the sites?

If they think you're spamming and you're telling them about your new sites, then you're probably going to struggle badly - like you are doing.

Nope, complete new wmt account, no adsense, no footprints :)
I was a bit frustrated as I started this thread. My older sites are still ranking pretty good. They only lost visibility because that niche is slowly dying. And I´ve checked my backlinks, I created 2012. At least 50% of them are gone. Since my new domains started to rank, I am happy back again and see that white hat seo and hard work still does the job.

You mention 3 weeks to 6 months like it's a long time.

Gotta keep hacking at it, read the forums, A/B test until you hit it right.

Sometimes one little feature you change will boost your traffic tenfold.

Something very similar happened to me and when I started looking it was the old basic of not keeping up with competition, even though the sites are great.

So decided to try building pbn for them and it's starting to pay off, took some work to do on a budget but worth it.

I feel your pain here, just gotta keep trying and hoping that something works out, learn from your mistakes and aim to improve with each site you make.
