i also ever have problem with auto renewal.
the charge me for the expired domain which i didnt expected to renew.

You have to take auto renew off.

GoDaddy is horrible, I stick to Hostgator for hosting and Namecheap for domain names.
Hostgator has excellent support, they'll respond promptly and are very helpful.
