I have also given up on SEO.

Unlike homebasebiz, I'm gonna get crazy with it.

I've grown tired of BHW's marketplace and fearing Google. I've tried quite a bit of packages on BHW and have never been impressed with the quality. Furthermore, I see sites outranking me LONGTERM with straight up garbage links. So, I'm convinced that:

1. Whatever I buy on BHW, I'm paying way too much
2. The cheaper stuff is more than capable of working.

So I'm putting my money where my mouth is and trying it out. Started out by sending cheap GSA and dirt cheap blog posts to my site on 10/6. Current results:

What is the difficulty of keywords you are trying to rank?
 
Use Scrapebox or Xrumer...spam it and see your results in long term
 
So you expect to rank medium to hard competition keywords with BHW packages only? Or tumblrs and GSA spam shit? No wonder why you are not ranking. First of all, you need to know what you are doing for the packages to have any positive effects and second, you need to know what and who you are buying from. It's sad to say, but the quality of the average link building/SEO package in the marketplace is far below average. Spend some time finding someone who appreciates quality over quantity even if you have to pay more.

And I can bet your competitors are using PBN links as "garbage" links to outrank you or simply do a far better job on on-site SEO than you do. Build your own PBN and stop bitching on the forums that SEO is dead, I'm sick of you people - even if you get step-by-step instructions how to rank and gold served on a platter, you will still fail and cry a few months later lol... If you think I'm harsh, then quit and bye bye, one less competitor anyway!
 
What sort of GSA links and how many man?
 
It's an interesting study. I think if you can keep up the velocity it may work short terms but I don't think the site will last that long having such a high number of spammy links.

Also I don't agree about services here being low quality.

Let's see though.

I think you're taking my joke of "Giving Up on SEO too seriously". The tumblrs was a specific case study, as is this. Otherwise I use a typical mix of Web 2.0s, PBNs, etc to rank.

However, this particular site I'm using for this thread isn't working that well with my current methods, and Panda 4.0 is out, so I'm having some fun experimenting with a different method for all to see me crash and burn or succeed.
 
Keep us updated as to the results, I have seen people blast their way to top 5 spots for keywords using GSA etc but it's then being able to maintain the ranking.

Again people promote keywords with zero competition by using Keyword Revealer but these softwares don't pick up that the top sites with zero backlinks, zero social media are backed up by powerful hidden PBN links.

just make sure you understand the process
and if you have a time
make your own process / SEO process
 
Stop treating SEO like a static industry.

Google never stops changing, therefore you should not only keep evolving your strategy, but be thinking 3 steps ahead to predict the next crackdown and avoid falling into potential traps.
