I am addicted to this forum!!

Been a member of this forum for about a year+, since the first day I was introduced to this forum by a friend who isn’t even an active member now, I have been hooked to this forum, I have no social life, no girlfriend, nothing. I make some money by reselling some of the services I find here and I spend my money alone. Am I the only one like this? If you were like this please tell me how you got out..
I believe this forum is great too but gaining information to better yourself shouldn't stop you from having a social life

It's easy, you already know the answer. If the people you know suck, find new people. Put some thought and work on that and your problem will go away.
Find new people? I don’t even know where to start from..
The only good friends I have that never disappoint me is my phone and my joint.

Depends mate....
1. if your work is to do with blackhat and using those tools and knowledge then it is part of work, especially if it makes you money to pay the rent
2. if you do it outside work then set a timer for yourself, something that sometimes work well

the problem is not BHW but what BHW in essence reveals...it reveals the layer beneath the society and influencers, and clickbait.... it is the people behind clickbait and spam, content writing etc etc....reason real world sucks is because the real world is your customers who are most of the time not very developed further than liking someone's meme and thinking there is an actual guy behind this and not an bot which automatic creates everything.... you are annoyed by this. and yes this translates also into your social contacts and even GF. if your partner is stupid and not on the same level then it will be boring.

You want to be mentally challenged and the real world is decorated for the mediocre.

If you have either an high IQ and/or HSP then you can easily feel this.
Damn this write-up. I am definitely posting this on my “note” app, I have to read it over and over again. Thanks so much bro. You’re a rare gem.

Make new friends, be more outgoing, try to relate with people around you and meet in person instead of talking online. Basically anyway to try and balance your online and real lives
What need is making friends who would probably snitch on you in the slightest chance they get? I hate going out. There’s nothing for me out there. Even when I am out, I feel odd because I don’t even know what they’re talking about, my gist is different from their gist. You can’t relate.

I truly understand this feeling. LOL :D:D

It's a great place!

You don't HAVE to do ANYTHING. we are brought up to think within a box and routine.... study...get married.. get kids... happy wife happy life bs... don't fall for it to discover only that the road to happyness is not a one size fit all. The fact you feel out of place says nothing about you, it says more about the place itself. hence maybe you feel more comfortable here than there. it challenges you to change views and get "aha" moments.

Same problem with myself, hanging around with "friends" feels like visiting the zoo and watching chimps converse. It is not meant condescending towards them, but that is the difference in how it feels when you hear their views or their priorities.

Anyways long story short....if you are going to leave your definition of "normal" and "happiness" to be defined by the same people that you don't accept their views from.. then you will be unhappy. Redefine those terms with your view on the world. The word "normal" and "happiness" is defined by the law of the majority. The majority approves unconsciously / consciously what is normal/happiness...

This whole thing is an journey and in the process you want to learn as much as possible... and in order to learn... you have to first let go of everything you have been thought as "correct". start with an clean slate and define what makes you happy rather "what can I do to make others think I'm normal" .

I don't think it is normal to go to a bar and drink beer till you fall after a week of work... I don't even understand football... 22 people running after 1 ball... give them all some balls and let them go home... neither i find it normal to idolize a singer or moviestar...I don't think it is normal to party every week and get wasted.... I am like... does your life suck so bad that you need to waste yourself every 5 days of work ? wasted on the 6th and rest on 7... then reset on monday? that's just nuts... spend that money on therapy or change of job or life.....

My opinion.... everyone is lost and looking for happiness but they are too intoxicated with all the temptations and weaknesses from where they are exploited.... (i.e. you aren't successful unless you meet a certain checklist)...
and since everyone is doing randomly thinking they are happy.... and confused why they feel empty inside... and don't have the tools to look inside themselves... they end up distracting themselves with all sorts of dopamine inducing activities.... clubbing, drinking, football, social media etc....

but then again this is my view and yours is quite possible different.... but the point i wanted to make.... don't ask for direction from people who are lost themselves...

p.s. I recommend some ted talks search on the term "happiness" , interesting talks based on scientific research. It is not the solution but it gives you some more insights on how to define those words for yourself

why not do both find a friend that you can invite to join in BHW, or find friend here in BHW.
