I want to find a way to make money, just a little, I don't need a lot. But most methods require a website with ads. I'm really not experienced with websites. Is anyone nice enough to help me start my own small website? I also have some questions, is it free to start a website that I can use to make money? and how do I get paid? Through PayPal or check?

same w3schools is a great place. I still check up on old knowledge there.
Go with blogger so you get a site and can place adverts from Google adsense. That way you can start to make money. On the side of this I suggest making your own little websites in basic html on a free hosting company (I would go for bravenet).
This will let you get into the internet and blogging via blogger and start to make money and get friendly with google adsense, not only this but the free websites you make on the side with tutorials from w3schools will give you the basic knowlegde required to improve your blog.

Yeah there are so many information on here on how to do this. You have found the right place to help you make money. You should start by using the search function. If you want to make a quick website, there are programs on here like xsitepro that you can use that doesn't require you to know html or programming and stuff like that. If you want to blog then just go for wordpress. Do a search on it and you'll find out how to use it. You can also get help on their forum as well.
I would also advice that you don't keep asking broad and obvious questions like "how to make money" cause you will get eaten up quickly. It piss some people off because they'll think you're lazy and not doing any work since this whole forum is about making money. And this forum is actually giving you free tools to do so.

I just wanted to comment on this, I don't get why everyone is so rude when people ask for help on here. It is a little overwhelming when you don't have a clue how to start things up and there's no reason to be an ass when someone *gasp* asks for some advice, you know. I mean sure if you think it will help tell someone to go learn something by themselves but what is the reason for the bad attitude? Come on people.
Its tough to get started but when you finally do just deal with your road blocks one at a time. If there is anything that you really can't figure out, outsource it. Pay the professionals. What you could spend hours or days on and still get no further ahead, someone that knows what they're doing can sometimes have it done in minutes.

I'm amazed that some people actually spend more than 15 seconds responding to these threads.
I've made a blog at blogger.com and i've put google adsense ads on it. And i'm just wondering, do you have to change anything on your site for the domain to be verified? It still says pending, yet there are google ads on my blog. Blogger.com approved of it, but it still says pending and i'm not making any money. Should I just wait?

Common sense pal, everything you need is already on this site, so why ask something which is obvious already? Yeah, we all start from nothing.

The first time i started out i use to learn html coding , it is very tough but i manage to get a get paid to surf website up , just for fun of it.
That was a few years back ,now you have website editing software that u can use.
Try Nvu ,its free.
I spent the last 3-4 years learning about website,blogs,ftp etc and i am getting better now.
It's not an easy road but you got to start somewhere.
I used to ask this question too 5 years ago.

I don't understand why you have to ask. With a simple google search you would have had the information faster. When i started with IM I didn't even know anything about domains and hosting so I went on youtube and learned how to make a site.
