I tried Upwork and got a project very fast but then it stopped. It is really hard to get projects if you are new to them.

Thus, I was searching for alternatives.

You can't upgrade your membership to paid JR VIP till 60 days and 100 posts. But if you are just arriving here, I don't know what benefit it would have for you, if you don't know either. Just spend some time hanging out on the forum, and maybe something will spark your interest and skill set that you can work on in your spare time, and until you upgrade if its still something you are interested in.
