Hello everyone,

I'm at the initial stages of having my website's content indexed in search results, and I've been sharing this content on social media platforms. Despite these efforts, my content seems to primarily attract direct search visits (likely just myself) and, if I'm lucky, 2-3 visits from organic social media sources.

Given that my blog isn't well-known online yet, what strategies could I employ to generate traffic and 'kick-start' its visibility? I'm looking for cost-effective methods (free or very inexpensive) to achieve this. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your insights!

Don't start building until your site is about a month old. Don't buy bulk backlinks.

Do keyword research, learn keywords that are easy to rank for (little to no competition) and implement it on your blogs/on page SEO.

Use Adsy.com when your site is old enough and start guest posting.

Good luck mate

Now just wait for the finishing Google Update of March 2024

Just keep making cool stuff, chat with people who's more on what you're doing, and make sure Google can find you - that'll help more folks find your site without expenses

Right now you are at an initial stage and to get more people to notice your website doesn't have to be expensive. You can start by making sure your content is easy to find on Google by using keywords people might search for and those keywords should be low competitive at this stage.

You can also try to join online groups and forums related to your topic and share your posts there for more exposure. This way you can keep sharing your content on social media and try to make it interesting with hashtags. If possible you can collaborate with popular influencers on social media to reach more followers(it is not cost-effective though:)

If you are flexible then turn your articles into different formats like videos or podcasts to attract different audiences.

Performance tracking is also important to keep an eye on what's working using tools like Google Analytics. By doing these things regularly I guess, you can increase your website's visibility without spending much money.

Give up before you waste any more time on it... Blogging is pointless.
