I've actually got a site designed by somebody from this board for $30, and it came out great. He did it quickly, had great customer service, and the site looks good. I thought $50 wasn't too far off.

Gromered Deserves this Ban. He already opened a thread stating he was going to be banned wrongly blah blah..and spamming with his contact details. Not matured enough to sort this amicably.

I am leaving this thread live and changing the title of the thread, so people who shitlists other members wrongly will be aware about the end result.

Well this the very first time i have seen that someone who is accusing other get banned coz he was infact the scammer while beside all the facts and talk i just Saw Gromered had joined on June 2010 and already made 227 Post which is a certain indication in my eyes that he was familiar with BHW either way this is absurd seriously is and Nice Catch by Mods and Super Mod

I've being reading this thread for 10 minutes now. It is apparently clear with these proofs from gromered is guilty.

Bigbuddy didn't reopen it, hexalor did. He did the right thing and wanted to be 100% sure that Gromered was the one that screwed up.

4 years ago I went to scriptlance for the first time and got someone to do a joomla template for me. Naive as I was at the time to freelance sites in general, I paid him up front via paypal. He delivered to me a mockup. I liked where it was going and commented it to be a nice draft and direction and can't wait to see the actual coded template. He delivered to me three days later the mockup. Like I "installed" the damn thing just to show him beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was not a template at all, but rather a background (and that it still looked like the first draft) and that I needed a coded template per my request. He didn't want to saying he did deliver a template. I opened dispute with paypal. They denied me. I called them and the rep there told me it sounded like I was in the right and should have been refunded so he set to an appeal for me. I was denied that too. Now I only pay when absolute proof is given of a completed product. I have still gotten played along the way in the years since and each time it has been due to my backing up on that ideal and paying first or doing something on my end before payment.

One day I'll be the super-cynic due to all these 'shitheads', but it'd be nice to see a more universal payment option like Escrow that would be as feasible as paypal to prevent b/s like this a little more. I'm a dreamer trapped in a realist's body, but damn, I hate to open these threads when involving 'seasoned' members. :/
