I just incorporated my business, but before doing so I checked to see if a short version of the business name was available on godaddy. Sure enough a .com was available. BUT before I registered the domain I wanted to make sure the s. corp paperwork went through (which it did).2 days after my initial check I go to see that godaddy has purchased my domain and has it for auction @ $400. WTF!!!!
How are they allowed to do that?
Check searched domains / cross check for new business registrations by state, put domain for auction , then milk me.
F$(K!!!
I originally thought it was one of my competitors but then see that godaddy has done it. hurts even more.
now have a long version of my Co as domain name. : (
