Hurricane Irene Path?

Yeah, I just moved from Chesapeake, VA to GA. I was worried about hurricanes here but didn't give much thought to my old home being right in the path. Lots of friends will definitely be affected. Storms are so unpredictable!

Though anything can happen with a hurricane....remember hurricane mitch? The weather people learned a valuable lesson about hurricanes. It did everything it wasn't suppose to do!!!!

So true! I was living on the beach in Winthrop when the perfect storm hit, and it wasn't supposed to be much of anything. What a huge mistake that turned out to be. :eek:

Weather can be so unpredictable.
 
We had a bit of a breeze here in Jacksonville Fl but that was all.

God be with you all up North in the path of Irene.

Just moved from the land of Ice and Snow (MN) to the land of oh*uck that's a big storm (NC).

All I want is to be in a place where I can have the sun without mother nature rearing her sometimes, unpleasant Medusa head.
 
I live in the path of the hurricane. It will be raining when I wake up tomorrow. I'm not in the direct eye of the storm, but we could still lose power tomorrow. Hope we don't because I have a lot of work to do!
