Hi Dudes and Dudettes

Just wanted to say that my thoughts are with any of you who might be in the path of Gustav.

Hope you get through it in one piece.

Take care, and know that eventhough some of us are on the other side of the world, we still care.

well it ran through me as a storm couple days ago, but nothing major happen as it was predominantly rain, and our houses are built for stuff like that, any way thanks for caring man
 
And as if Gustav wasn't enough, we now have TS Hanna headed towards the Bahamas and gaining strength.

i've been through a hurricane decades ago.... it's like the weather declaring war on your neighboor hood.....
 
i saw money in this searched for hurricanegustav.c0m and guess what it has been already taken i also searched for hurricaneTSHanna.c0m and its available but i dont want so one of you guys on here better hurry up and go register it b4 its gone lol juz my 2 cent

Yeah, take care anyone who's in the path of this beast...I hear it's gonna be a big one.
 
Right now Category 4 is what they are saying in the media. God help anyone who's not prepared for such devastation. I remember what Katrina did. Some lessons seemed to have been learned though, a lot of people are on their way out and FEMA seems prepred unlike last time.
 
i bet its gonna get to Cat 5 strength in the hot gulf, I think the mayor of NO is not wanting the same katrina scenario so hyping it up is alot better than brushin it off.
 
It is category 3 again, it dropped today. But it was very upsetting to read New Orleans major who said this is something that was never seen before.

Not directly but my best friend is on a first responder team for one of the largest contract disaster recovery companies in the world. He called me this morning to tell me he was flying down to New Orleans to prep.

He worked Katrina too.

I couldn't do what he does.

Good luck any and all in the way. I hope that son of a bitch blows his guts out 50 miles off shore and turns into nothing but a drizzle.
 
Dam New Orleans has to deal with another hurricane. :(
 
That's what happens when your in a bowl. Some people are leaving for good. I certainly couldn't do it every year.
 
you poor guys over in that part of the world - you got tornado alley and now it seems the gulf is becoming hurricane alley -
 
Good luck to everyone in this hurricanes path.

I feel so bad for the people of N.O and the surrounding, things were just finally starting to get back to normal after Katrina.
