Humingbird and Google SEO - - - ?

Google started using Hummingbird about a month ago. Google only announced the change on Sept. 26. If your rankings are steady, then you are safe!
 
The update says google has actually been running hummingbird ?for a few months,? not just since last month.

I think people are overreacting. It's natural to feel a bit of fear whenever google announces an update. I guess that's how they've conditioned most of us over the years.

Updates used to scare me a lot, but they actually excite me more they scare me now because after each update, the amount of competitors I have drop like crazy.
 
The only affect that I can see is the switch-over to "not provided".
 
USE the search button on this forum ---> Search "Hummingbird" and you'll get some nice result before you post and re-post the same story !!!
 
why the need for all these up dates ? what are they trying to prove?

They're not trying to "prove" anything. They're just protecting their business model, while balancing it with delivering the best possible search results. Sure, you'll get people in here crying and moaning over each Google update, claiming Google SPECIFICALLY targeted them, or their niche. Google doesn't give a flying fuck about all this and all the bitching in the world won't change what they're doing.

So suck it the fuck up and get your ass back to work.

Hummingbird is a new algo which will be used on-going for ranking, while Penguin is a an update specifically targeting (what Google thinks are) low-quality sites, and is run periodically.
 
Guys, all my websites are safe and sound after this update. Even I'm doing total blackhatseo from many years.
