Human mind is amazing

lol. I had to read that twice. I got it after the first time, but still missed it the second! Especially easy when you skim things.

well you caught me with it so I guess I'm a lowly human after all :(

let me tell you something more amazing with the brain.

When you want your finger to move, I takes xMS to reach the finger and to give it the "command" to move. But when someone touch your finger, without you seeing or hearing something, it takes 0MS to reach the brain.

Now you are much screwed than you were.

It is amazing how it can quickly overcome small anomalies like that.

If there was a mistake like that in computer code then your software would crash :)

well then here is one for you to think about!!!!!

give me a sentence (in English), with the word "and" appearing 5 times in a row,
yet the sentence makes perfectly good sense!!!

I will give you 24 hours for your answers....

i.e.

and and and and and

What is this a ransom?

If you know the psychology behind it, it's sad actually(about the quote). But the title is very right, the human mind is truly fascinating.

And the gentle giant looked at me and spoke in a deep and thundering roar "What do you want?"

And I replied with a trepid mutter " I I I... I am looking for my little dog, it went lost 2 days ago and and and and and...." I could not get the words to come out.

............

bla bla bla..... done:)

There are a lot of things like that. We can also cut out certain letters from the middle of words and our mind reads it just as well because our brain only reads and recognizes an impression of the word via its grammatical/spelling shape and the context it's in; we don't take the time or effort to fully read a word. The beginning and end usually is enough as long as it's not too off the full spelling.

Pretty crazy too because reading is only a few thousand years old and we've been around for over a hundred thousand, and the mind has such a complex ability to do something that isn't even survival supporting! (evolutionarily speaking that is)
