Huge YouTube Community Guideline Update

YouTube just updated it's Community Guidelines Strike System
Before if you broke a Guideline, you'd get a Permanent Warning
Then if you broke another, you'd get a Strike on your Channel
3 Strikes = Channel Terminated
Now if you break a Guideline, you get a Warning but can take a Short Course to remove it
Ideally, this will help YouTubers avoid Strikes entirely
Because if you don't break the same Guideline in 90 days, the Warning is removed from your Channel
A Warning will always be there before a Strike
So if you break the same Guideline in 90 days. your video is removed from YouTube and you'll get a Strike on your Channel
If you break it AFTER 90 days (so on the 91st day)
The Warning will be gone by then, so you just get another Warning and can take a Course again to remove it
YouTube is doing this to help Creators who made honest mistakes and didn't know they broke a rule
They'll be keeping track of people who abuse it to intentionally break rules

Good to see YT new strike system. It's like YT has considered giving a second chance to creators who make mistakes .More learning, less punishments. It will surely balance the accountability and fairness.

This will be used against you when you are stuck on a situation where your entire channel is demonetized, but they wouldn't specify which videos are causing this.

Basically the course will be used as an excuse to further prove that you are wrong, while they monetize other channels doing the exact same content you are being told potentially demonetizes your entire channel.

For instance, you get your entire channel demonetized for "harmful content" while YouTube still continues promoting your videos. Does that mean YouTube promotes "harmful content"? Exactly, this means that they continue profiting from your content, now at 100% rate since they aren't paying you, and they use this traffic to drive traffic to other videos. Conclusion, they profit from "harmful content", "reused content", and all that content that supposedly breaks guidelines. If they really broke guidelines, why wouldn't they just tell you or delete it themselves? No, they know some videos have a lot of ranking and would impact other creators, so they leave you in this situation where you have to go through this mental torture of having to potentially delete videos unnecessarily since you don't know exactly what breaks these guidelines.

These courses will be as vague as the way they apply their guidelines, ie useless. While they whitelist channels, they will continue ruining the life others, because again, if you have an huge video with 50+ million views, this video brings traffic to other whitelisted channels they like, so they don't want to delete these videos even if they are "harmful" which is bs. So what do they do? they demonetize your entire channel, but leave the videos online.

I know know people in my niche with whitelisted channels, making exactly the same videos about the same topics with the same audience that have had no problems, while others were completely demonetized.

YT is a private site and they do whatever the fck they want. This course is once again, to trick the public into thinking they are doing anything useful. Just like how they mass demonetize and delete videos using AI while they cherrypick which channels are not affected by these AI purges, so they look like they are moderating content properly in the eyes of the uninformed.

YT is the best way to make money online and at the same time the worst since it's a lottery when you will suffer from a bad luck content purge and the YT support is as useless as these "courses" will be.
