So I made 1x PBN backlink per day for five of my money sites for about 14 days until end of december '16.

The keyword position from two of them started to drop heavily. I am talking about from #10-15 to #60-Nowhere. Now after more than 45 days they are still nowhere, it still seems like the rankings won't come back / rank in a higher position than before.

On the three other money sites it had no impact atll all. They didnt lose rankings, but also they didnt improve.

Anyone experienced the same?

I thought about the PBN domains are penalized, but they are still in the serps and seem to be fine.

Keep building these links and keep adding more content every day.

It happens to me often, usually its a dance and then you recover 1-3 weeks later. You need to keep building links through it though

A) Did you put a link to each of your 5 money sites on EACH PBN?

B) Was this your PBN or did you buy links on somebody's network?

This happened to one of my sites... a huge drop on my main keywords.
I'm not sure what caused it because I've bought different services, link pyramid, pbn posts, web 2.0

Do people think the cause is the PBN's?

I think the cause is way too many crap services pointed to a money site or anchor overoptimization etc, but the cheap and badly done public PBN is more likely the main cause.

Did you build other links in the past? If so how is your anchor text ratio before and after these new links? might be the reason more than anything else.

Agreed. Google is way more sensitive toward poor content, link velocity, anchors, and link patters than they used to be.

Link pyramids especially seem risky these days. I'm shocked they are used outside churn/burn parasites, as they exhibit all the concerns I listed above in one service lol.

A) 50/50 on some there were already existing articles with the other money sites (not all, maybe 2-3). I made sure there is no pattern in when the different money sites were posted. So I didn't post all 5 money sites on each pbn, but 2-3 were already existing on the PBN from months ago.

B) No, it is my own private network.

Some general information: most time I used LSI anchors. The keyword density on my money sites are kinda low. Around 0,5 to 1%. Before PBN links I made a lot web2.0 links.

To lower the anchor ratio I can simply change them or build new links with brand/url anchor right.?

Changing anchors is not the best of ideas. Your best call is to build new links with better anchors.

And about LSI... are you sure they were LSI and not partial match anchors? Many people mistake these two and end up veeeery sad. So if you built shittons of partial match anchors, it's quite obvious where the problem is.

Okay, I get your point.
So lets say my main keyword is "dog training" and I use the anchor " training for dogs" and "dog cheap and effective training". Are they LSI or partial match anchors?

If they are not LSI anchors, how would they look like for this example?

These are partial match rather than LSI. You can easily check what the LSI would be here - http://lsigraph.com/

LSI Anchors are essentially variations of the same keyword. For example, an LSI of dog would be "Puppy", "Canine", or "Mongrel"

Partial Match are partial matches of your desired keywords. For example, a partial match of "Dog Training" would be "Best Dog Training Tips".

Ok, but on the site Nargil posted, when I type "dog training" it also suggests me "free dog training tips" or "dog obedience training" which would partial match according to you.

a much safer form of anchor text linking is to use a generic word like 'here', surrounded by keywords
"check out our dog training guide here for the best dog training tips."

Who / where did you buy from?

Have you seen this ?

They contain partial words of your keyword, so I consider them to be a partial match. If majority of your anchor profile is made out of words like these and not frm brand/url anchors, then I can assure you, this is the problem.

I guess so. I will use more brand + keyword/ brand and URL anchors. thanks a lot.

but will it have the same power/impact as I use LSI/exact match anchors?

I saw this thread, but I didn't buy any service. I am using my own private network.
