There’s a coin trading for $1000+ on one exchange, but $50 on others and I can’t figure out why. I purchased 3 at the cheaper exchange but I can’t transfer it to the other wallet to sell, yet. This seems like one of those too good to be true moments.

Has anyone experienced such huge price differences between exchanges and what was the ending price?

I was looking for the same thing, but No luck in finding the sweet deal.

Seems to happen to a few coins on different exchanges. And you can't take advantage because you can't transfer.
Possibly some type of pump and dump price manipulation directed at certain exchanges?

Bitcoin diamond on kucoin? They're not allowing deposits hence the price difference. You can make a lot with arbitrage though, I make around 5% per day, much more on days like this lol

Is there a method to find coins for arbitrage? Or you check manually through coinmarketcap the ones you’ve invested into?

This sounds like a scam or pump and dump.

Yea I purchased thinking I could transfer but it’s disabled. Oh well.

I look for coins that have a lot of arb opportunities come up and then hold them on 2 exchanges. eg hold $2000 of ETH on kucoin and $2000 ETH on binance, if ETH goes higher on binance then I'll sell my $2k on binance and buy another $2k on kucoin, wait for the market to go back to normal and either profit when it goes higher on kucoin or just trade at break even on the second trade to get my funds distributed equally between the 2 exchanges. There's plenty of chances when the markets get really volatile like today but even on normal days it's easy to make 5% with a lot of small-medium sized coins.
You can try transferring between exchanges when the chances come up but too much hassle for me with transaction times and fees.

ofc you CAN make profits by trading crypto exchange/exchange and that's the reason why you can't withdraw many from new coins/coins with low cap which can easly be pumped... Still there were simillar situations on big cryptos like BTC and many ppl made cash on this but many lost aswell.. It's not an easy way and for sure its not a way for beginners, It's just for an experts i think. You need to calculate transaction fees/transaction time wchich is sometimes that long that price can skip a lot of %/got much money to invest

Look at TER, it’s over $1,000 on LiveCoin but $50 on Cryptopia and CoinExchange. WTF?!
