Hi guys,
First time posting in BHW but been on this site, incognito, for a number of years. Have a pretty decent business idea which I thought I would post here to get some advice, feedback & potentially help. I have recently moved to India and have access to cheap OTC generic medicines; which sell for a fraction of the price here compared to the 'developed world'. The margins usually range from 50%-500%. Generic medicines work much in the same way as big name brands, minus the massive price tag.
I would appreciate any advice, help & assistance regarding being able to provide OTC medication for those in need, through conventional (pharmacies/doctors) or unconventional (forums/support groups) channels. Please share your thoughts regarding any limitations or push-back that I may face. The main purpose of this exercise is to provide affordable medication & healthcare to those in need; and to be able to sustain a living at the same time. Naturally, given the nature of the business & the importance of incentives, I would be happy to discuss profit-sharing/commission with anyone who is able to assist.
