Hey guys,

Just looking for some input on a footprint I've started reading about recently...

When redirecting all 404'ing pages to the homepage (using a script/plugin) we are leaving a footprint - clearly... In the interests of keeping my PBN safe, what is the best way to route the link juice to my homepage safely and avoid the big G catching up with me?

Many thanks!

Natural interlinking within content that funnels from page X Y and Z to page V that then has a natural link to the homepage? I dunno, I'd be careful... I'm not a fan of these funneling schemes.

Just dont do it on all of your sites or manually find the pages that have link juice and only redirect those few.

You can find these pages with ahref or majestic.

All sites that uses 404.php for pbns will get penalized sooner or later.

The secret is to alternate use redirect plugin fo wp, .httaccess redirects, html redirects etc.

Or find the archive content and fire it back up on the site??
