Anyone use this for marketing? I found the site today and wrote a hub. I found it pretty enjoyable to actually sit down and write. I was just not sure if anyone has ever used this for there affiliates. I am just now really starting to get into affiliate marketing but have been doing massive research read a few books. Got a couple twitter accounts for advertising. Any who off topic has anyone used this i appreciate any responses.

Usually, people use Hubpages for backlinking purposes as a part of their top-tier links. However, hubpages are very picky and it requires you to have a specific amount of points for your backlinks to become do-follows.
I'm not sure about affiliate links, but I know they allow you to promote amazon products or add your adsense account with your hubs.

Yep, they are PR6 so a do-follow link from there (40+hubscore, 75+ hubberscore) is considered of good quality. As for the affiliate links, they only consider amazon and e-bay, in which you must register under them I believe.

Hubpages picky nature means that links from them will be of higher quality, so I'd use them if I were you, as just one of your do-follow backlink sources.

Thanks guys for the responses. I have been looking into a lot of different avenues for advertising. Hubpages does seem to be a good place to write and back link. I really like the fact once i post a new hub it shows up on recent activity so i get more hits on hit.

Hubpages are picky and they ranks really quickly . so if u have time to make quailty hubs then u should definately try some more. but remember that hunpage is very quick i n deleting junk hubs.

Do the hubs still get ranked fairly quickly? I was under the assumption that they took a pretty big hit when panda rolled out, but I could be wrong. Anyhow, I have heard of people making decent money with them, but they have over 200 or so hubs. I guess it's like any other income stream. It takes time to build up but you reap the rewards in the long run.
