HTTPS "Your connection is not secure" !!?

Hello,

Suddenly i see my traffic drop almost to 1/5 and after i checked that i see because all my niches ranked with HTTPS but when i visit my those ranked URL's i always get this message :
"Your connection is not secure"

Any idea how to fix that ?

you need to add SSL certificate or redirect https to http. the redirect will not fix the warning but google will recraw your site and reindex it with http which will solve the issue. but as you know reindexing takes time

It will tell you exactly what is wrong.

Just add an SSL certificate. HTTPS is a ranking factor, not very significant, but anyway.

looks like you are using a self signed cert or you forgot to include a intermediate ca-bundle

well of course the traffic drops with the "your connection is not secure" message as many visitors will hit the back button then and go to a different site.
ranking wont drop and google might not care, but real visitors do.

itz_styx is absolutely right! Read this article written by Brian Dean. Interestingly, a moderate correlation between HTTPS and higher search rankings was found.

P.S. The funniest thing is that he doesn't use SSL certificate on his own site.

I think in that case he confuses correlation with causation. Websites at the top of SERP do everything possible to gain users trust (and increase conversion rate). That green lock on Chrome's address bar can be a huge (subconscious) influence factor to shoppers, along with PayPal & Visa logo near the Buy button.

In my experience SSL gives no great SEO advantages. May be 1-2 positions on average, no more.

SSL just gives a false sense of security and the code is a clusterfuck (at least openssl). BUT nobody cares and google is pushing that everybody needs to use it.
