Hello guys how long does it take to overcome the drop in traffic due to migration into https from http.

I have 2700 articles so I think it's very huge. I just wanted to know your experiences and thoughts .

It depends. Some people have had positive experience after switching to https, other people were disappointed by the results.

Tha
Did you make sure that everything that you did is correct?

This phase is not as easy as everybody thinks. You should have a proper 301 redirection.

I think this is the best article when it comes to this - https://www.cloudliving.com/wordpress-ssl/
Thanks geasy will look into the article. I have just migrated 5 days ago and started to see drop in ranking

I migrated my site which 1 year old to https 2 months ago, I lost positions for main kws, they still did not recovered, but my articles which never were ranked got new rankings for new kws....

TOTAL: I lost more than 40% when I decided to go https till now

Switching to https is a splendid choice in my opinion and I've seen only positive results so far doing so. Traffic will eventually trigger, wait for a few weeks to get it sorted

In your case did you observe any initial loss in traffic ?

my cms is Wordpress

no it was before the update begin
It is only http-https issue

I hope you have followed all the major steps like 301 redirect, no two website versions like https and http, www and without www, canonical url
