Anyone else not trust online proxy checkers? In the back of my cynical mind if you are checking proxies that you have scraped through them, they can keep hold of the ones that work and either use them themselves or display them on a page for everyone to use, making them useless in hours (or sooner!)

This is the case for lots of them indeed but it is also true for some paid software, one proxy checker seller on BHW here also has a paid proxy list so I think it would be very unlikely that they are just ignoring all of the proxies sent to them by their paying users.
I can say unequivocally that I do not store any proxies tested through No Hands Proxies and I do not have any kind of conflict of interest in regards to this as I have no proxy list service nor do I have any interest in starting one.

I used to always wonder that myself. How had would it be to add a simple function to a php judge and save the good/valid ones checked against it. I created my own just so I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.
