I've been working through Blogger for the last year with no problems and I noticed that the blogger sites used to be ran through HTTP and as of late April they've all been changed to HTTPS, late April is when I started noticing a difference in my Adsense pageviews. I've also heard that not all Adsense ads can be run through HTTPS, do you think that this change to HTTPS blogs with blogger could be the reason for lower pageviews/earnings?

    HTTPS-The Secure layer of HTTP.
This update came to ensure that site connection is secure to use or not.
Maybe this update will reduce the views and earnings.
Check with your other factors too.

HTTPS can only server data from HTTPS websites, if the advertiser has HTTPS on his site then he will serve the image!
Having HTTPS on your site means fewer advertisers bidding for that ad space, use google when you are not sure about it, the issue is quite old!

People have writes that kind of article in 2013, where Many of Advertiser don't use https, but now it is all gone. :) Feel free to use Adsense with SSL, it does not make any difference nowadays.

Look out Adsense code there are using // instead of http and https at starting, just because it set default value as per website URL.

It doesn't make ANY difference. It doesn't matter if the URL of advertiser is HTTPS or HTTP as Adsense uses redirect URL and not direct URL. I hope that made sense.
