HTTP to HTTPS redirect -> I lose referrer info -> need help

Hello everyone, I have a WP website and when you go to it through http it will redirect to the https.

So when someone clicks on www.mysite.com they are redirected to https://www.mysite.com and I lose referrer info.

And in my stats I see "Direct traffic" instead of the actual referrer

If they click on https://www.mysite.com then I have all infos.

I need someone to provide me with a solution (html file or .htaccess or anything).

BTW: I'm not giving any access.

Transfer your site to be completely served through HTTPS. You can't really 'fix' the http > https referrer problem due to security reasons. Read more here: https://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec15.html#sec15.1.3

Your issue likely is
- Https link --> http website --> https site

Moving from httpS to http causes your referrer to drop.
