HTTP PROXY OR SOCK PROXY ? who prefers which ?

Hello,

Few weeks ago i shared Free Proxy List Grabber script here http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-list-every-minute-scrapebox-other-tools.html

Now i am modifying my script to grab and test 10 times more proxies and provide filters like
* Google passed proxies
* Cookies enabled
* GET /POST Enabled
* User Agent enabled
* Latency

However my current script can only test HTTP proxies.
I am wondering if i should work on testing even Sock proxies or not .Is is worth the effort?

i would like to know who prefers sock proxies over HTTP proxies and on what scenarios .so that i can decide if its worth the time or not.

problem lie in different tool scripts test proxies in different ways
what maybe google on your tool might not be on another

Thanks proxygo. i m aware of that problem i figured it would be better if i test google by querying a keyword and check if the page display and result or not.

but here i m curious about https vs sock proxies. can u share your thoughts on this please ?

Sock Proxy cause it makes some different fast performance and security.Just mine opinion

But do people use SOCK proxies? DO most seo softwares support sock proxies ?
