Sorry for asking for this since it's a little off-topic, but it would be a positive share fir the forum as well.

I have tried on google, searching in rapidshare, megaupload, etc, on emule, and nothing came out.

Does someone have HTTP Programming Recipes for C# Bots

    Thanks

By "bot", I assume that you mean spiders or agents of a sort and not those nasty zombie things.

The language isn't really an issue. I'm MCSD.Net and I would still probably build it with Perl or maybe some AJAX solution and run it on a server or multiple servers.

If I was building one to run on my XP box then I would probably use C# only if it was dealing with a lot of XML and/or web services. Otherwise, I'd probably use Perl again.

What are you looking for? Scraping, sniffing, spamming, mashing?

I don't have the one you're looking for but I found this one. I hope it helps. Like Lurk said, it's not really a programming language issue.

    Code:

    Code:

Do you knwo C# as it is?
I only ask because you don't need someone teaching you how to do it, Microsoft already documented it.

c# made it really easy to automate websites (I prefer that to bot, sounds less nasty).
What your going to need to learn is the XML parsing. The hardest part is reading the web page your going to be automating. Its a matter of research though. All you REALLY need to do is identify the input boxes. I mean, that are their IDs. Then, in your app, copy your string to the box then generate a mouseclickevent on the button that submits the information.

So you only need an imput box for the login info and then you load what your posting from either files or scraping.

Instead of searching for that I think you'd better spend your time just digging in the MSDN library because I know there are about 100 examples of how to do this, with source code.

Sorry I didn't post a code tutorial but botting in c# is one of those things you gotta teach yourself to maintain it. Good luck and if I can help just let me know.

Can you scan it for us? (doesn`t hurt to ask) :) Amazon has "problems" with my country. And yeah, the source code is freely available.

search for html agility pack. it is a good html parser.

i am also working with .NET and want to automate the logins and submits to social bookmarking sites. First time i did it with webbrowser-automation. But this is very slow and sucks. Now i am implementing it via the httpwebrequest and concerned classes. I am still fighting with it a little bit because there seems to be different authentication methods on the different social bookmarking sites, so that sending the right post data isn't enoughh to get a succesfull login.

if you have found any resources please inform me.
