Any positives or negatives, I'm only looking to 'like' photos automatically.

Not sure if I trust it.. It asks you to type in your Instagram username and password instead of just clicking a thing so it automatically authorizes it for you. I wouldn't log in with my instagram through a 3rd party website. I'd rather not possibly lose 138K followers.

At my own stupidity and my inability to find any negative reviews, I tried it out and instantly my account was locked due to 'suspicious activity'.

Any site which asks for your login/pass should be faced with a dose of skepticism.

They probably do all their work from a few servers with fixed IP's, piece of cake for IG to nuke them.

That password reset is due to different location.

The difference on those web-site and why they suck its because they dont let you input our own proxys for connection, so its 80% sure you will get your password reset :)
If you wanna a stable way to get your account working with automation find a bot that supports proxys and its constantly updated.

it actually got locked? not a password reset? whenever i authorize a 3rd party to access my IG account i usually get a password reset but never has it been locked :(
 
I used the 3-day test run on a throwaway account of just under 1k followers. The first time I tried to log in, Instagram itself made me reset the password. Once I did that, though, I was in. The actual functionality is nice. There's 3 different speeds; slow, normal, and fast. The auto liking on slow and normal didn't get picked up by Instagram for spam, which is what I was mainly concerned about.

The "suspicious activity" stuff mentioned above concerns me though, as I'm not sure how this would react to much larger accounts that go deep into the tens or hundreds of thousands of followers.

what do you mean by "The auto liking on slow and normal didn't get picked up by Instagram for spam, which is what I was mainly concerned about."
cause right now if i use any hashtags on my picture they get ghosted all im doing is following people on a 10min/4delay i barely post anything throughout the day and only use one hashtag a day.
 
Hey guys... I am brand new to the forum. I just purchased the a instagram bot to hopefully speed up my account building. BUT for the past 45 days I have been using Instagress to build my wife's account for her business. So far in the past 30-45 days of using instagress alone I have built the account up to roughly 800+ targeted followers. I have about 40 or so hashtags loaded into instagress while it is working. So far I am happy with it, but my question to you all is:

Will I get equal or better results using a non webbased bot like "instagram mega bot"???

Also for those who are using instagress and having the problems with it 'blocking/locking' your account make sure that while you are logged in and running instagress that you are logged out of your phone or from anywhere else for that matter. And if you will do that you will have no issues at all. Once I figured that out about 4 weeks ago it has been smooth sailing for me.

I meant that I was afraid that the rate of liking photos would get picked up by Instagram and it would get me in trouble somehow, whether it was them stopping my likes and flagging me as a spam account, or even shutting down my account.

To give an update: Instagram forced me to change my password after liking photos on the "Normal" setting so that may be too fast. I would recommend keeping it at "Slow".
 
Any fb /twitter/instagram app which takes your ID and password is asking for more trouble. Be it paid or not. OAuth is there for the same reason. If they don't use OAuth, you do not use them. Lesson should be learned from here :)

Hello Chapman,

I am also new here.
I ve been using intensely Instagress over the past 3 weeks for marketing purpose.
I confirm that running fast and Normal speed gets my access token reset every single time and even banned for some of my accounts.

What I didn't try yet is to pay attention not to connect from anywhere while my account is running on Instagress.
I ll let you know if that solved my issues with Instagress.

Nonetheless, I have to admit Instagress rocks. It is effective, reliable, and cheap. Not like all these fake bot software from anywhere (Instabotfire, MegaBot etc. All these guys drove me crazy. There are so many primary owners of these softwares that you don't know who you should trust)

Instagress is alright, i used the 3 days trial, and worked fine, it's like an iMacro with following, unfollowing, liking etc. but you shouldn't do any actions on your acount, because it could get you banned due the high activity
