http and https

Haii lovely forum, sorry if this thing has been asked. try couple of search but not found something related.

So i have some problem (or not problem? not sure tho)

let's say i have this domain http://www.forum.com <<< Mine
but when i did search on google i found this https://www.forum.com <<< Not Mine

anybody can explain what happen?
i know very little about ssl and stuff. but what i want to ask, is there really a way people can do that? i mean make new site like that? with my domain on top?

Im really sorry if my question make no sense
Im trying really hard to make it understandable as possible

That is strange there can only be one e.g forum.com domain registered it does not matter about the http or https !!

There might be incorrect SSL settings in your server.... Just to be clear, YOU CONTROL the domain you own. Nobody else can do anything on it.

that shouldn't be able to happen htttps vs http the main difference between the two is the ssl certificate which adds security to your website and makes it more secure

So the problem is in the server? cause its like 2 different domain it self

Yup but i can open both of them separetly and show me completly different domain

It may be there is a htaccess file controlling redirection for non-http version.

Do you have SSL? It's security, the https version is more secure

Surely, the one with an "https" is also yours. You can check on whois.com.

Yeah, and there can be several reasons for that.
One of them being the possibility that you have wrong apache configuration (or other server configuration if you are using something else). They (ssl and non ssl) probably point to different sites/folders, and the non https site doesn't redirect to https.

I'm a total noob but I'm also under the impression that the domain name itself should be pointing to the same website, whether it has SSL or not.

Okay this problem solved, actually my brother who also working along side me in this project. Who did all of this.
He is the only one who got the acces to the server (cause im total noob in this kind of thing)
And i dont know how he does that, but it go something to do with C panel he says.
