HTMLy Flat File Blog anyone use it?

I'm not a database fan unless I absolutely have to use one. HTMLy is pretty flexible once I found the PHP functions I was able to do some editing. It used Mark Down and has a nice UI. Backing up is just a matter of FTP. I was just wondering if anyone else is using it in here and has any tips? I've only recently started using it.
