html5 games, should i use engine?

    Hi guys
    i say there is no place to find my answer better than BHW, i do research on the web but no obvious answer so i came here
    i want to learn html5 games programming, (i'm php programmer)
    i found all the people say: learn html5 and javascript to create browser games, ok, but should i use an engine or not, if yes, witch one you advice me

    Yes, you should.
    For starters GM: Studio is good - you will both code and need to use available tools which is handy. Good for starters - you can easily move to something else afterwards.
    Check also Phaser - its well documented and supported.
