HTML5 alternative to wordpress?

I need to make some html5 sites, but I don't know how to code or alter a template - I've always used wordpress.
Simple designs are fine, limited functionality - I don't need a CMS.
What is out there that I can self-host? Is there anything drag/drop builder alternative?

well there are frameworks like bootstrap, but you need to understand HTML to use it.
 
In my opinion the best solution for you would be to build your website using WordPress and converting it to static pages.
Or learn HTML CSS and JS.
 
GitHub pages.
You get free hosting as bonus.
Search for Jekyll themes on Google, find one that you like, fork it on your own repo, start a GitHub pages site on that repo.

There are more themes on Google, this is not the only site that has them.
The content will be written in Markdown, that's a bit hard for novices. But hey, there's Prose.io that hooks into your GitHub and you can edit posts using a decent WYSIWYG editor.
If you start now, you can learn all this GitHub thingy and you can have a functional website in less than 8 hrs
