I read about html seo and i think i know how to do this ( H tags, alt's...etc), but i want it to ask you guys if you have any tips for this.

Thx

I try and do my main keyword once in the title tag, twice in the description, and once in an h1 tag.

Alt tags are good, try and use a few variations of the keyword. Use synonyms in both the description and on page. Toss a synonym in an h2 tag.

Try and make the content relevant to the main keyword. Be sure not to keyword stuff though.

keyword density 3-5%
keyword in metatag,url,title thats it....

About metatag keywords:
For example, i have a electro music download site.
Would it be better to have 2 metatags "electro downloads" and "electro music" or just one longer "electro music downloads" ?
Any suggestion on this? :)

dont bother with meta tags. except for description in some cases (ie if there aint a lot of content on the page)

main ones to ensure you cover are title and first sentence. H1 - H6 if you can make it read properly.

Onsite has a lot less value than it used to now. its still all about backlinks

I don't think so anymore, when i saw this :)
Code:

1st page on G for keyword "club music", with ~50 backlinks
Yet a mystery to me.. and motivation :)

I disagree. Depending on the niche you are in, meta tags can bring a good bit of traffic from search engines over the long term. Not meta tags alone, but I have seen improvements in tests with adding meta tag keywords alone.
