html scroll box effect site?

i have a lot of content on my home page, about 20 pages worth. I want to insert it in an html scroll box. Will this have any negative effect on the rankings or how google views the content?? Is there anything I should consider when doing this? Sorry if this is a dumb question, just don't want to mess anything up.

what is html scrollbox, do you mean overflow:auto in css? google dont care about css very much, its not gonna affect anything.
