HTML registered sign problem

    Can anybody tell me why my web page displays a Ž instead of ® ?

    check headers and find

    if its missing add it .

    or try with
    ® with by putting following text in html file instead of the symbol
    remove space between & # .

    'charset=utf-8' is there and & #174; didn't work.
