    I want to make a download link for say a mp4 video. When clicked I want it to bring up a window displaying a cpa offer. After completing the cpa offer I want the frame to close and the download link to function as intended.

    How many of you are that good? A little challenge, perhaps?

    Any help is appreciated. thanks.

    Well I want to do something similar to sharecash dot org. except i dont want the whole site. I just want to make money every time someone clicks on one of my files to download.

    Someone suggested in another topic to just put a timer sending them to another page. Which would work. If after 20 seconds they dont submit the offer it sends them to the download page. But i'd really like to have a javascript action linking to the submit in the iframed offer somehow. I understand the basics i'm just very very illiterate when it comes to coding new stuff. I can normally take some code and modify it but in the case of what i'm doing it's way beyond my abilities. I dont want someone to hold my hand or an easy fix but i appreciate the honest reply and you not flaming me. Thanks for that.

    I guess i need to give an example. Let's say I want to iframe an offer for a free ipod 3g submit. Either full page or cropped e-mail only submission area with my own text on the un-iframed portion of the page.

    I guess what i'm asking is what languages should i be looking at for doing this. Will javascript be able to track the submit buttons action and perform a refresh to another page of my own after the submit and what functions should I be looking at. Etc. Etc.

    I wish i could be more specific but I dont want to give out too many details on what networks I use or anything in fear of being banned or having something link back to BHW.

    Maybe you could try hooking the buttons onclick or the submit forms onsubmit event once the iframe is loaded? this is some pseudo code for the general idea

    iframe.document.submit_button.onclick = 'perform action';
    iframe.document.submit_form.onsubmit = 'perform action';

    give that shot

    Thanks! i'll look into this. I originally wanted to call a dhtml modal window and do it that way but there is no way around the cross-site javascripting on that.

    This will not work :) You dont have any acces to page witch is in iframe.

    I've made something similiar ~2 weeks ago for one of users of the forum.
    Ofc there is no way to be sure whether someone filled out form or no - we cant control page witch is in iframe. But we can listen to changes of couples variables.

    regards

    I figured that out in trying to make a dhtml modal popup for the iframed offer. No javascript cross-domain support. I can do it using this code
    Problem is I dont know how to integrate that javascript call into my existing DHTML Modal popup script and furthermore make the link that opened the dhtml modal popup in the first place change to a real download link afterwards. I will piece this together soon, it's just very frustrating if you dont know javascript.

    I'm using Dynamic Drive's DHTML Modal popup script as a base for calling my windows up. It can be found http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex8/dhtmlwindow/dhtmlmodal.zip

    I just need to integrate the addload function into that and have the link be changed as a part of that function after the addload function completes.

    If this is beyond your scope, thanks for looking at my thread. If not prove your skills here and in the future i'll definitely consider hiring your services.
    I'm sure everyone who reads this thread will too.

    Plant the seed =)
