HTML PBN with Amazon S3 still effective?

Hi all!

Is it worth to create a small PBN hosted on Amazon S3 buckets? Amazon uses the nearest datacenter to the requester to load the sites, so the IP address is not static.

The goal is to mainly publish articles here and add like 1-2 external backlinks to the main site. The goal is not to rank these PBNs, but to create niche specific news/blog sites.

I can easily create a distribution system for these html sites, but before I start coding and setting things up I just want to check if it can make a difference for the main site on low/medium competitive keywords or that this method doesn't work anymore.

I haven’t personally tested this method, but a lot of people come to our service with sites that were made using exactly this method and index them.
