Hey there,

I was just wondering if DIV Name (Id,class), Table name etc.. have any effect on Onpage SEO?

Does anyone have read something about this/heard Matt talking about this?

<div id="keyword"> VS <div id="jhisdfjksadfsad">

I highly doubt it because ID and Class attributes are related to the HTML layout's organization rather than its actual content.

I don't think so.. the div id relevant for seo.. and it's unlogical because ids name help to build a site.. the title tag is help for relevancy.. this is my opinion

Thats why I am asking ^^

I am working on my own test :)

I'd done a test like this less than a week ago, testing the new google changes for effects on basic html effects and changes.

The results showed that there are absolutely no changes in the effect of using a divide, no matter what you call it, as someone else already mentioned, it is a base html design function.

No worries on this one. It doesn't show any signs of confliction or devalue on stats at this time.
