HTML, CSS, and Javascript go hand in hand in today's modern web development. You will likely learn all three side by side as time goes on, but start with learning a basic HTML5 web page layout. There are numerous resources out there, but two of the best I like to use as references are https://www.w3schools.com/ and https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Learn

What do you want to make? A nice dynamic site? Like sites that use bootstrap? Go then, but don't quit... Otherwise it's a loss of time.
