I can't create a .htaccess file on my server, i allready tried to upload it as .htaccess.txt and then re-edit it, but no luck.
Anyone knows another method or is my hosting provider blocking it?

Edit the HTACCESS file that's allready up on the server. Just use your FTP manager, right click on the file and select edt, then save when done pasting your stuff in.
HTACCESS.txt won't work

You are joking :D

Open notepad, click save , type.htaccess as name and change the file type to all files and click save!

Now you would get an htaccess file! And dont be fool to consider htaccess as a .txt file :)

And no hosts block them! (Not atleast in Paid hosts!)

Change the permissions to 777 it will be a lot easier.

make sure you have checked 'show hidden files' in your ftp program or else it won't show it and remember to change permissions back after editing it - don't leave them at 777

Offcourse, the "show hidden files"! :o
Man, what do i feel like a fool, but in my defense: my wife is pregnant of 8,5 months of our first daughter and my mother in law is staying for a month in my house ...
