Because of my many girlfriends (and one wife once), it was all fun and I did not do many things in life, like having a carrier in the first place. Now in my 50's I am trying to catch up. I found my wife on a dating app while working on my startup and having part-time job as a delivery driver. I was making around 2k/mo which was enough to pay for room and food. Everything I had left I was investing into the startup (paying for servers, domain, etc.). I rarely had money to take her to the restaurants she liked but it still worked out.
