I'm not 100% sure but almost that those clips are copyrighted.. How's this guy monetized? There's not even a voice over in his videos, just clips.

Yeah, probably exactly this. The same way all those Family guy clones are running for a while before being caught.

It's easy. Just go in the YouTube channel home page and do CRTL + U, then find for "is_monetization_enabled" without quotes.

This is a very small channel. They will get caught once they start getting more views.
