    Good Evening,

My name's Richard, thought I would join this forum to try my hand again at IM. I have been lurking for some time, and at one point I was working on IM a few years back. My major caveat back then was getting caught up in every "get rich quick" scheme that came my way. I ultimately failed because of my lack of focus, disorganization, and impatience. To put it bluntly, I did it stupid. I guess if I had any advice for fellow "newbies", it would be not to fall in that trap. It's enticing to think that there's some Easy Button for this type of thing, but through my reading and research as of now, there's not. You have to work hard for your money, online or off.

In any case, I'm older, a father, have a halfway decent career in aerospace, and I'm having another go from a more mature perspective. I recognize now that a nice long term goal would be to make a decent living doing marketing online. But who here doesn't have that goal? ;)

Here's a nice question to stimulate some thought, hopefully others will benefit from this too.

Is internet marketing viable in the long term? Could the niches and micro niches eventually "run out"? What's your thought on this?

Thanks for having me, happy to be here!

    Hey Richard,

Ask the question to yourself: "What am i good at?"
It took me almost a year to realize that i write bots and probably there's an audience for my service. So i started working on fiverr about 3 months ago and woala... I have my own website now and working for $30/hour as a freelancer and i'm not even 18.

Feel free to add me on skype if you need anything.

Welcome to Blackhatworld and have a good luck! :)

    Welcome Rich to BHW!

Internet Marketing can be both short term or long term and any method can run out at any time so always be prepared and have multiple forms of income.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everybody!

Based on what I have read, I feel like a really good goal is roughly $10/day. I have a 5 year old YT account with about 300 followers that I think I could put to good use. I was going to focus on making videos about a particular academic subject (if you see my username, then you probably know which one!). Education is a passion of mine that I figure will make it easy to write articles and put them on a blog as well. I was thinking of joining CB or amazon affiliates and drive traffic to relevant products.

I can also easily monitize my YT videos which might bring in more money. Once I get all the stuff set up I was thinking of starting a journey thread. I hope that with the proper techniques and KWs I can generate a steady flow of traffic.

Any suggestions on this are appreciated :)
