OK, so I been lurking this forum for some years actually doing research before deciding to sign up. Well to be honest I'm here looking for some new stuff to get involved in. My background.. well I was making some very nice money for much of this decade solely from pay per click advertising (that's buying advertising not as a publisher). More than enought to live off and have a savings bank on the side. I was involved pretty much exclusively in the adult biz, could never really get the hang of mainstream and I tried lots of programs. My success came primarily from about 2005 onwards when I was using services like goclick and 7search and just pimping out landing pages for per signup programs and free emails and I'm still getting recurring checks to this day from those. When goclick went out of biz in.. 2008 I think.. 90% of my traffic source dried up.. 7search was ok but not as good.. I thought about going back but I'm not convinced since there are not that many advertisers as there used to be and besides I don't wanna make the same mistake again.. relying on a single service or two for my vital traffic.

My main mistake I think was that I never learned SEO. Sure I tried to back in the early days but it just seemed overwhelming and since I found great success with PPC.. I just sat back and was ignorant to what would happen when my traffic provider went out of biz. So now I'm like a kid that has dropped out of school at like grade 8, found a job that paid well and now is out of work with no real education. I'm not in a huge rush to make money.. I know thats not realistic.. but I've never made a blog or anything like that and don't know half the stuff you guys are on about.. despite being on the web since 95 and making tgp galleries since 2000. I'm nearly 30 (something else to be depressed about). I would like to give mainstream another go aswell.. Any advice would be more than welcome!

You are in the right place to learn seo. Read a lot for starters ,and then start implementing. Start with low cost methods, because you will burn in the beginning. Then you will grow stronger and profit.
