How Youtube SEO works?

Hey, I have a query. How Youtube SEO works. I use to give a good title and sufficient description (Won't Stuff Keywords) and hashtags. But I always feel that my video performing underwhelming. I even share in social media but response is low. I have 1k+ subscribers but I need to make my channel grow a lot and gain atleast 1.5 to 2k views per video. Can you guys give any tips? I'm in security system niche (B2B) so I feel this reach itself a big but when I see my competitors page they have more views than us. Can anyone help me regarding this?

That means having a thumbnail that converts better than your competitors, and interesting enough videos that your viewers would stay to watch.

What they search for?

Look for competitors contents if they perform good take them as idea for new content

Boost video with ads

1. Use video keywords to have a chance to rank your videos in Google also.
2. If you put subtitles on your video, it's possible to rank for a keyword that you only have in your subtitles and nowhere else!
3. Make your descriptions long and mention your keywords in the beginning of them.
4. For tags you can either use the keyword stuffing technique or use tags only directly related to your video.
5. Use VidIQ to find your opponents tags.

You also need to build backlinks against your keywords…

I think it is how YouTube works nowadays.

You need an attention-grabbing thumbnail and engaging content. Everything else has limited influence on rankings.
