I have a website, that offer link building, social media marketing and ppc campaign.
The site is new only 1 month old and is not ranked yet, just finished it. The site will get ranked in a month or two. My packages are pretty much affordable and can be bought right from the website or they can req custom quote also.
Whenever I google about how to get new clients for Link bulding or seo, all i got is referal from others and Local clients and ranking may get 2-3 client per 10K visitors.

My question is How you people get clients for your White hat SEO service or for manual link building service or for PPC campaign.
Do you people get any customers from search engines, if yes how many??

    any help is welcome.

Sounds like you're in a competitive niche, which only means I wouldn't count on search engine results to bring in new customers. Since I'm a copywriter, I faced the same problem. Most of my new clients came from referrals (old or existing clients) or the occasional contact on oDesk that wasn't slave wage. It's great when somebody actually finds you and initiates contact, but the way I established myself was actually going off line.

I focused on a local audience, especially those who don't already know the importance of content. I joined a few Chambers of Commerce (and somehow ended up being nominated to head a variety of committees with one, which has really built my rapport and credibility locally.)

I also build websites now, since everyone locally knows me as "the web girl" and it's also very easy to rank higher when you focus your niche on regional search optimization. I still work with many clients from around the world, but I quickly and easily PLACED on the front page (in 5 spots) for multiple keywords just because of that local filtering.

It's also much easier to work with local clients, and you could always contact local web developers and relevant service providers to pitch an affiliation. I know this strategy is more offline marketing than online, but the same advice applies to almost any small business or organization. You want to drive traffic to your website any way you can, and the most commonly overlooked way to do this is still to market and promote your website "in the real world".

    Hope that helps!

SEO is a competitive niche, however i can rank in 2-3 month for medium competitive keywords.
My question was will i get any customers from search engines, as in seo people usually get clients from referrals or from local

It sure is, and I'm sorry if I misunderstood, the question I was answering is "How (do) you get new clients."

I also work with SEO so I know what you mean, but my advice is that yes you can get clients from SEO/ranking but not exclusively. That might be good for 1-2 clients a month, but it's kind of like "what came first, the chicken or the egg".

In other words, yes you can get clients from search engines but I wouldn't put all your eggs in that basket if you want enough clients to make it worth your time.

At the same time, ranking is only part of the battle. That will bring traffic to your website, but then your website needs to CONVERT. (Don't worry, I'm not pitching you here, just sharing what I know.) Since you are offering a service, you do need to convert traffic or all SEO efforts will be a waste. That's another reason I suggest balancing how you market yourself with other strategies.

    Hope that helps. Good luck!

Here's a few ideas to get clients:
    - Try ranking for local search terms, e.g. seo mycity.
    - Forums: to (a) sell your service (e.g. BHW BST section), and (b) build trust, by e.g. writing awesome posts and coming across as an expert in your field.
    - Local business networking (offline + online), e.g. meetings with local business owners. Offer (free) training courses.
    - Referrals. If you're just starting out it can be difficult. Offer work at a cheaper rate in exchange for solid referral(s).

You can get clients many ways. One method you might want too try is too pick up a phone
and call them, and offer them your services.
