Why would you switch over?
You should keep doing CS if you get that much, Thats alot of money...

so first of all, i will answer your question . . .
i make money with CL (that stands for Craigslist), doing CPA (that stands for Cost Per Action) and some more with AAP (i guess that stands for Adult Affiliate Programs). well the best money is certainly in EPN (That stands for ebbay partnner network) and in CS (that stands for coookie stuffing) and it is certainly the riskiest money you can make.
My advice is that as a newbie... Don't be too ambitious or too greedy, just try and make your first $100 and look at it in your pocket and smile, knowing that this is just the beginning. Then go on to multiply that by 5, but don't burn your fingers by trying to take on methods that earn you $1000 per day ... DONT do that buddy.. DONT be tempted by your own greed, rather "Get Educated First" and have at least some Solid Foundation on internet marketing.. if you're still asking what the acronyms CL/CS/EPN/CPA stand for, then it means you haven't really taken the time to read around and to seek & search in the forum.

I am afraid that you might burn your fingers and lose your cash to the so-called "gurus" due to some careless ignorance on your part. So once again.. DONT look for "only the elite methods" ! This is a common trap that catches almost ALL newbies on internet marketing.. especially THOSE that are coming from many years of being in a day-job ! And it is a serious handicap to your judgement if you've somehow tuned your mind to ONLY look for some Eeeezy-NoWork-NoReeding-NoBrainNeeded-BlackHat magic formula !! As soon as your mind goes into that.. your fingers will soon ache and you'll repeatedly find yourself "searching" for the WRONG stuff on the internet ! And sooner or later you'll end up in the hands of deadly Aligators ! There's a TON of gurus (outside this forum) that will lead you on by their impressive videos and personal proof and even show you HOW they've made their fortunes and HOW they NOW live their dream.. but they will be willing to snatch your $49 nonetheless.
Look at the medium-scale and small-scale methods on this forum. Take some time and look at them. Don't look at the title of the thread which says $20 per day and shy away from that thread .. OFTEN down the thread you'll find some truly revealing suggestions and wonderful adaptations by other members on how to RAMP up the method significantly .. yes you will also find disagreements and warnings from other members, but Make Your Mind up on your own given the proposal in the method and all its risks & rewards. Make your mind "independently" and take action if you have to. The medium-scale and small-scale methods on this forum... those are the ones that will truly allow you to adapt them and come out with your "own unique formula" that you will forever keep a secret (Yes.. that's what will happen to you.. No matter how uncreative and how clueless you think you are.. it will hit you.. your formula will certainly come ! And when it hits you.. you will be so excited that you will come back here to TESTIFY to all of us ). But this WONT be something that you thought "out of the blue" or "in your dreams".. it will be something that you PARTLY LEARNED from reading around various things on this Forum ! Spend at least 6 hours a day for 3 months reading around various forums... READ and READ.. LEARN and Don't be shy to ask, but Do NOT ask with a "motive to make Eeezy Huge money" so that you can buy some expensive toy and impress your friends within 2 months.. Also do NOT ask with a motive to ONLY find the methods used by the Elite which tells you that you can Push some secret button and go to sleep and wake up tomorrow morning with $1000 in your Paypaaal account... You'll be surprised that even the best methods to make money "STILL" require that you DO SOME GROUND WORK on your part and in fact you will still have to Personally Take Absolute Care and lookout for problems and check everything out on daily basis ... no matter how brilliant or how much money the method is making.

I'm not exactly sure who you are talking to because I wasn't asking what CL or CPA or EPN was I know what those are. haha.
But this is a great post for any newbs. Every newb should read this before beginning and asking posts like "how do I make money?"
But as I said. I know how to make money. I am just wondering the best general area to start focusing more of my efforts. So I am asking people more experienced than myself for their general area of expertise.

mazzim, that is a great post and something everyone both newbie and vetern should pay heed to. It is so easy to get caught up in the next great scheme pitched by the so called gurus and lose focus of what your goals are.
I see people all the time drooling over some half ass method which some says all you need to do is to push this button on this software and you will be rich. They try again and again only to find out they need jsut one more thing, which the guru will happily sell them.
This leads to people not really doing anything productive so they don't make any money, when if they would have just used all that time to write articles and post them on the net then they would earning something for their efforts.
To the OP, I make most of my money by writing. I don't sell what I write, but I make money from it. This is from Adsense, Affiliate sales, CPA, etc.., all the main methods will make money if you do the prep work required whether that is creating content, generating traffic, etc..

I've been on the net since 1987 and have done various things to make money. I work them until I get bored. Unfortunately, I get bored easily. Fortunately, I always set things up to be on auto-pilot or easy to license to someone else. I believe if you really want to make money on the Internet you have to focus on "evergreen". Otherwise, you're always re-inventing the wheel.
Some online businesses I have/had/partner with:
1) Consulting new entrepreneurs
2) Installing websites (super simple and profitable trick is to focus on one type and sell it over and over)
3) Consulting with Private Investment Firms regarding real estate investments
4) Training new residential developer for private investors
5) Training mortgage brokers to work with residential developers
6) Consulting with small business owners (offline) on how to use Internet (online) to their advantage
7) Training marketing consultants to get their first client
8) Training savvy IM to make money selling expertise to small business owners
9) Offline Newsletter marketing
10) Article Marketing
11) Licensing
12) Leasing domains
Basically the big money is in training people either in groups or one on one. I did a consultation yesterday with a fellow BHW'er who had a traffic system he wanted to sell. I showed him how to earn $5000 or more by giving three hour online training course on how to set up and use his system. I explained what software to use, how much to charge, how many he needed, what to offer them and how to set up the course. Then I showed him how to replicate his first course and keep making money from the same people over and over again.
I have marketing consultants who pay me $3500 for one hour of my time to answer their questions and help them get their first client because they know that consulting can easily generate $100k or more a year. It's something they can do when they want and gives them true freedom.
The point is that there is always someone who doesn't know as much as you and is willing to pay you to learn it. As one of my psychology professors once explained to his students, "You don't have to be sane to help a crazy person. You just have to be saner than the crazy person you're trying to help."
Think about it, if I could show you how to take what you know and turn it into $5000 for three hours of work and repeat the process as many times as you want. How much would you be willing to pay me to walk you through the process and answer your questions?
That's exactly how others will view your information. Mastered PPC and have a documented history of success? There are those here on BHW and elsewhere who are more than willing to learn exactly what you're doing. Mastered cookie stuffing? Mastered Craiglist marketing? Article Marketing? Blogging? There are people here and elsewhere who are more than willing to pay you for your expertise. As long as you can prove you can do what you say you do and you're willing to give them your REAL secrets then people are more than willing to pay to learn.
I recently paid a carpenter $500 for his time to show me how to build a simple wooden box, a drawer and a ramp. I've always been interested in woodwork but didn't know the first thing. From the three projects I choose I now know enough to teach myself the rest of what I want to learn.
The question is, why continue to beat your head against the wall?
Sure there are a lot of so-called "gurus" who rape and plunder the innocent. But you don't have to be that way. Just from the "stickies" posted on BHW you could set up a nice little consulting business. You just have to know a little more than those you're teaching and have actual experience.
