catchy n simple domain is important for search appearance.
so, how you guys a pick one?
any suggestions for buying a nice domain name?

Unless you want to build a brand of your own, I would suggest you go for buying a good expired domain.
It will save you a lot of time and efforts.

Contact @Nargil who has a treasure of good quality expired domains. I have seen his excel sheet of domain lists and it contains many good domains with excellent metrics.
 
I generally use LeanDomainSearch to brainstorm some domain ideas. There are other domain name suggestion tools, too. Just search on Google.
 
I try to get a domain that represents the niche I'm working on and contains that keyword. If nothing is available, just try your best to come up with variations

- use only .com or country domains

- use only letter without numbers or -

- use only one word domain (trust me)

Problem is that you cannot get very good domain names now if you for .com domain. I do not spend more than 4-5 hours per domain search.
 
all these free tools/ai out there not creating modern creative unoique names for you I've test them all...
Interesting there is a marketing agency with a japanese word= tanj ! ( tanj.com) short abbreviation of the word tangible in japanese.
They rank at spot#1 in google but not have multiple serp listings when you type in tanj in google.

Can not say if this is a good method to use japanese or korean words in your doman name when you targeting US audiences.
On the other side based on my research many marketers saying when a com domain is taken not use the nam ewith a .co or .net tld.
I think the.com will then get all the traffic the other tld's not.
 
Pick a domain name that sounds good - shorter is usually better. Avoid numbers and hyphens. Pick a name that will be related to the content on the site. Pick one that will be applicable for years to come.

for me look a number like 2025 a spam doman.
 
problem is all 2,3,4 letter domain sare taken ,maybe you have more luck using 5 letters and more to get a .com tld o ruse weird word short like xipp
then you will get a .com domain but weird domain names will not be a good choice.
